Jack Smith Demands Witch Hunt of Average American X/Twitter Users

Special Council Jacky Boy Smith is grasping for straws as he sends a search warrant to X, formerly known as Twitter, to request information on former President Donald Trump's account AND the millions of accounts that interacted with it. If you even liked a tweet from the former President's page between October 2020 to January 2021, you could be on the list too.
The search warrant requests a list of all users who liked or retweeted Trump's posts during the aforementioned timeframe, including location data of each user. This request could result in data on millions of Americans turned over to the DOJ. The special prosecuter will also get information on each staffer and aid who logged in to the account because the warrant requests every IP associated with the account.
The New York Post reported that Elon Musk initially delayed the compliance with the request, but incurred a $350,000 fine against his company. The warrant also silenced Musk and would not allow him to warn the former president. Musk tried to fight this, but failed.
Smith argued “there is reason to believe notification to the former president, a sophisticated actor with an expansive platform, would result in a statutorily cognizable harm.”
